With Symphony Nitris, Avid has adapted its Symphony software to the company’s Nitris hardware, creating a high-performance tool for real-time HD processing. New functions include HD Total Conform, real-time processing of multiple 10-bit data streams, and real-time colour correction and title creation.
Symphony Nitris is scheduled to be available from the third quarter of 2005. A turnkey system with storage costs US$89,995.
