A season ticket (including all supporting events) is available for 190 euros; a day ticket costs 90 euros and individual events 20 euros. Students pay 50 euros for season tickets, 20 euros for day tickets and 10 euros for individual shows. Members of selected media associations and the Visual Effects Society (VES) receive a 50 percent discount. Special rates are also available for university groups. eDIT: eDucation, the three-day seminar and lecture programme for career starters and career changers, remains free.
As in previous years, international experts from the fields of directing, animation, VFX creation, postproduction, games and commercials, but also production and distribution, will present the latest developments in digital filmmaking in 2005. Major filmmakers from the USA and Europe will discuss their work up close with the audience. Guests in previous years included Peter Greenaway, Michael Ballhaus, Dante Ferretti, Dennis Muren, Tom Rolf and Vilmos Zsigmond.
On the programme are, among other things, “Making of’s” of the major cinema blockbusters Kingdom of Heaven, Robots and Star Wars: Episode 3 on the programme. Also panels on games, animation from Asia, TV design and digital cameras.
