Maxon has released a free update of Cinema 4D for registered owners of release 9.5. In addition to several bug fixes, more than a dozen optimizations and detail improvements have been integrated, including even easier operation of the Content Browser, expanded Drag & Drop and an improved menu structure. An updated 64-bit version has also been thought of.
In addition, a new shader makes its appearance: “ChanLum” creates, similar to down, a glow on the surface of objects. Users of the current version of Cinema 4D also have access to a library with shaders, light setups and other useful goodies for download.
