The American Visual Effects Society (VES) is once again holding its annual Visual Effects Fextival from July 6 to 8, which marks its eighth edition this time. The venue is the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood.
The event focuses on background presentations by high-profile speakers about current and upcoming Hollywood productions. VFX Supervisor Boyd Shermis will report on his work on “Poseidon,” and his colleague Mark Stetson reports on “Superman Returns.”
In addition, there are also a number of presentations on fundamental topics, as well as panel discussions, workshops, screenings and a small trade show.
