Eyeon Software planned to introduce version 5.1 of its Fusion compositing software at SIGGRAPH 2006. The company said the release contained more than 25 new technologies, features and functions following two years of work on the application architecture. Eyeon did not disclose further details before the event, held in Boston from 30 July to 3 August 2006.
Fusion 5.1 was scheduled as a free update for Fusion 5 users from its release date. Existing upgrade terms remained in place for users of earlier versions.
