Chroma-keying specialist Reflecmedia offers the VR studio system MoViSet Live in three variants. The entry-level solution Stage 1 comprises only 2D software and a preset design. This consists of six sets that can be assembled with various camera and lens settings to form an individual virtual-set background. The recordings can be processed both for live keying – for example with Ultimatte DV – and offline in an NLE. Stage 1 is aimed primarily at smaller broadcasters and Internet TV stations.
The Stage 2 variant can be expanded with its own footage, text, logos or straplines as well as 2D objects, stills and graphics and has more lighting options.
The top system Stage 3 finally combines the features of Stage 1 and 2 with an extended timeline, AVI, MOV and MPEG support as well as animation functions and effects such as reflections and shadows.
All three products are to be available at the end of 2006; Reflecmedia has not yet given prices.
