Distributing render jobs in a heterogeneous network or managing them on a workstation is the task of Renderpal. The software from German developer Shoran Software can handle almost any render engine, starting with Mental Ray through the Maya renderer to the Maxwell renderer.

The update to version 1.80 of Renderpal 2004 Server and version 2.70 of Renderpal 2004 Workstation respectively brings a command-line job submitter for Linux, Mac OS and Windows as its most important innovation.

Other new features are a new “Renderer Options” dialog and the “Job Priority” limitation for users. The smaller improvements include the ability to hide certain renderer groups, a more precise calculation of the remaining render time and updated support for the After Effects renderer.
