After Apple ported its Final Cut Pro editing software to the Intel platform with version 5.1, Automatic Duck is following suit with its two timeline-integration programs Pro Import FCP 2.01 and Pro Export FCP 3.04. The recently presented versions run natively on both Intel and the older PowerPC Macs and are available immediately.

As a new function, Pro Import FCP 2.01 additionally supports the import of Avid sequences that contain pan-and-zoom effects created with the Moving-Picture plug-in from Stage-Tools.

Pro Import FCP 2.01 and Pro Export FCP 3.04 each cost 495 dollars. Owners of the previous versions 2.0 or 3.0, respectively, receive the respective update from the manufacturer free of charge. Owners of Pro Export FCP 2.0 and ASE Pro 1.0 receive an upgrade for 195 dollars.
