Almost three years after the introduction, the developers at The Pixel Farm (TPF)are presenting the second edition of PF Hoe and the higher-end PF Hoe Pro variant.
PF Hoe is a tool for automatic matchmoving of film material that is based on the technology of the high-end application PF Track. Hoe, however, offers a simpler user interface and a substantially lower price.
PF Hoe 2.0 brings a revised user interface and an improved tracking engine. TPF has also significantly increased the number of export formats, including its own Pixel Farm Open XML format and HD-capable formats. For difficult shots, there is a tool for estimating the focal length.
The Pro version contains additional tools and support for most Linux distributions.
Otherwise, both versions are available for Mac and Windows.
The update from the previous version costs 19 and 69 British pounds respectively, and the full version costs 49 and 99 pounds respectively.
