Distributor Qoobee is presenting the new functions and features of Softimage XSI 6 at a launch event in Frankfurt am Main. It takes place on March 15 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Saalbau Gutleut.
In addition to covering the faster animation tools such as Motor (Animation Layering) and Quick Shade, a completely newly developed rendering and shading workflow, the event also provides information about Crosswalk, the toolset for further simplified collaboration in mixed production pipelines, and other features of version 6.
At the Frankfurt event, Wolfgang Emmrich from VCC Perfect Pictures will also speak about an advertising production for Nivea that was realised with XSI, and participants will have the opportunity to exchange ideas with other Softimage users.
The Frankfurt date is one of numerous XSI 6 Launch Tour events that are heald internationally, including in London, Paris, Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Seattle, Dallas, Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver. The tour is supported by HP, Intel, Microsoft and Nvidia.
