The D planning package is the German version of the CH planning package, which was developed by the Swiss distribution partner CDS Bausoftware AG. The solution has already proven itself over several years in practical testing at the company’s own engineering firm CDS Bauingenieure AG.
With the new D planning package, working with Allplan Civil Engineering becomes more productive and intuitive: More than 20 assistants provide a large number of immediately usable components, lines, symbols and other objects for almost all areas of application. The user visually selects the required element in the assistant. One click of the mouse is enough and the subsequently created objects are automatically placed on the correct layer. All formatting properties such as pen thickness, line type and color are likewise already correctly set. This means that the laborious entry of a large number of parameters in the dialogs can largely be omitted.
Continuous Planning Process
Furthermore, the D planning package supports continuous working and avoids redundancies. Only one central model is now created; after that, it is possible to switch at the touch of a button between different plan types and drawing types, e.g. for position, formwork or reinforcement plans. Visibility and formatting properties are adjusted automatically. Correct plan representation is guaranteed in every case – regardless of whether intelligent components or simple lines are used. This enables a practice-oriented hybrid working method in which the components can be combined at will with lines and other 2D elements.
Uniform Office Standard
In the background, the D planning package automatically ensures correct assignments and optimal structuring of the data, so that users are relieved of unproductive administrative tasks. It also ensures compliance with a uniform office or project standard. This enables employees to familiarize themselves more quickly and immediately find their way around all projects. As a result, possible sources of error are reduced and throughput times shortened. As a kind of side effect, the D planning package simplifies the creation of visually appealing plan representations. This allows the engineer’s work to be made more visible externally.
