The Board of Trustees consists of Prof. Dr. Wolf-Dieter Ring (BLM), Stefan Wittich (BR), Andreas Bartl (ProSieben), Klaus Josef Lutz (SZ), Otto Steiner (Constantin Entertainment), Florian Ebner (Ebner Publishing Group), Peter Hufe (SPD) and Martin Lohmann (publicist). The objective of the Board of Trustees is to support MFM in research, the development of teaching and with contacts to the media industry.
In the future, the Board of Trustees is intended to provide MFM with advice, to support research projects and to form a direct line to the media industry. The close contact with practice makes it possible, according to the chancellor of MFM, Joachim Scheurer, to adapt education to current developments in the media world and to be able to react at an early stage. In addition, the media managers are also seen as potential employers for the currently approximately 660 students of the university of applied sciences founded last autumn, with its headquarters in Munich and campus locations in Hamburg, Cologne and Stuttgart.
