With Fusion64, the limitation to four GBytes of available RAM, both virtual and physical memory, is removed. By supporting multicore and multiprocessor systems, Fusion users would be able to use more memory and system resources for interactive applications.

Based on Fusion 5.2, the 64-bit version supports, among other things, OFX plugins, the Vector Motion Blur tool, enhanced import of 3D scenes and graphics-card-accelerated 3D LUTs in real time.

Fusion64 will be available through eyeon’s membership program.

DIGITAL PRODUCTION spoke with Isaac Guenard, Senior Product Manager at eyeon Software, about Fusion.
