Interested parties can submit their game proposals until September 24, 2007. The 25 qualifiers for the main round will be notified in October and have until January 28, 2008 to submit a playable demo. The winners will be announced at 3GSM in Barcelona, Spain, on February 13, 2008. Prizes will be awarded in five categories: Excellence in Connectivity (Multi-Platform, Social Networking), Excellence in 3D, Excellence in Game Play, Best Licensed IP-based Game and Best 2D Casual Game. Last year, over 400 game developers from 42 countries took part.

“Mobile phones are increasingly becoming personal computers,” says Neil Trevett, Vice President of Embedded Content at NVIDIA. “With this transformation also come new applications and content. NVIDIA is therefore pleased to support the IMGA in promoting the creativity and innovation of mobile game design.”
