Pinnacle Systems, the consumer division of Avid Technology, has extended its “Share Your Studio Experience” video-editing competition http://www.pinnacleshare.com/ ShareYourStudioExperience until the end of October. This gives users of the Pinnacle Studio 11 video-editing software a little longer to demonstrate their creativity, submit their edited films and thereby inspire other film fans.
During the months of July, August and September, more than 260,000 visitors visited the PinnacleShare website and were able to view videos, read about the experiences of Pinnacle Studio users, send comments themselves, ask like-minded people about video-editing techniques and choose their favorite videos. The reason for the one-month extension is the broad enthusiasm among users of the Pinnacle Studio software for submitting their creative video films in order to win the following prizes:
1st place: Panasonic AVCHD camcorder (model HDC-SD5)
2nd place: Pinnacle SoundBridge HomeMusic
3rd place PCTV DVB-T Diversity Stick
The Share Your Studio Experience competition runs in Germany, France, Great Britain, Italy, Spain and the Netherlands. Participation is free of charge. Participants only have to register and submit a description of no more than 150 words about their positive experiences with the Pinnacle Studio software together with a sample video. Each month, the three videos that receive the most votes are awarded prizes. In addition, the Pinnacle staff chooses its favorite videos and publishes them on the Pinnacle Share website. There they can be viewed by anyone.
