3D software provider Luxology has announced a series of tutorials intended to make game development with Modo easier. “The Alley” consists of six video tutorials. They teach how Modo’s modeling, painting and baking tools can be used to produce high-quality 3D assets found in an urban side alley.
In more than three hours, Luxology’s Dan Brown describes ways to use Modo’s tools to create memory-saving 3D objects and lavish scenes that can be used in games or film or video productions. Seneca Menard of id Software provided input for compiling the content. In addition to Modo, ImageSynth and Adobe Creative Suite 3 are also used as part of the tutorials.
Luxology offers the “The Alley” videos for purchase as separate individual episodes (10 US dollars) or in the form of two albums (25 US dollars each) with three episodes each.
