Analogue VGA and digital DVI-D connections also allow the playback of high-resolution videos up to 1,920 x 1,200. But the new widescreens are also impressive in other respects: with a colour gamut of up to 92 percent, they offer colour-faithful image reproduction.
The fast response time of up to 5 ms guarantees a streak-free display in the best image quality even with fast-moving image content, such as films or computer games. In addition, the Dell E248WFP and Dell E178WFP have been optimised for Microsoft Windows Vista. They can optionally also be mounted on the wall, with the “Cable Management Feature” preventing cable clutter.
The Dell E248WFP is a widescreen display in a black design that bears the “TCO03” ergonomics seal of approval. It is available for 559 euros plus VAT (665 euros including VAT).
