Nvidia, the world’s leading manufacturer of graphics and media processors, is now accepting applications for its “Nvidia Fellowship Program”. As part of the program, Nvidia awards fellowships for the 2008/09 academic year to doctoral students conducting research in the fields of graphics and digital media.

With its “Nvidia Fellowship Program”, Nvidia supports doctoral students whose research work will help the graphics and digital media industry achieve a breakthrough. The recipients of the Nvidia fellowships not only receive financial support, but also have unlimited access to all Nvidia products and technologies and can also exchange ideas with Nvidia engineers.

“The Nvidia Fellowship Program is intended to support graphics and computing research at universities around the world and stimulate communication between Nvidia’s research and development team as well as talented students and professors”, says Dr. David Kirk, Chief Scientist at Nvidia. “Since its launch in 2002, the program has supported 55 doctoral students with more than a quarter of a million US dollars.”

More detailed information on the conditions of participation and registration is available on the website or by e-mail at fellowship@nvidia.com.
