Digital Images at the DVD Industry Forum in Munich

At this year’s DVD Entertainment Industry Forum, where the leading lights of the DVD industry met in Munich on November 13 and 14, 2007, it was not only about looking back at past successes.

In addition to discussions about the high-definition future of the silver disc and the possibilities of tomorrow’s entertainment world, the industry celebrated its best at DVD Night 2007. The Halle DVD producers of Digital Images can pat themselves on the back. This year’s “Creative Award” was presented for the complete works of the Arthaus Premium Editions, all of which were created at “digim” in Halle.

Furthermore, no fewer than seven nominations went to DVDs that Digital Images created for the large Halle music label Arthaus Musik, Kinowelt and Deutsche Welle. Nominated productions included those in the categories German Film (“Germany. A Summer Fairytale”), International Film (“Saw III – Limited

Collector’s Edition”), Music (“Kent Nagano Conducts Monuments of Classical Music”) and

Box Set (“Wim Wenders – Director’s Edition”).
