Quark Interactive Designer 1.02 follows the release of QuarkXPress 7.31 in November 2007, a service update for the professional layout and design software optimized for Mac OS X Leopard.
“It is important to us to provide the Mac community promptly with current versions of our software that ensure full compatibility with Mac OS. Together with QuarkXPress 7.31, Quark Interactive Designer 1.02 gives Mac users the ability to create Flash animations,” reports Tim Banister, Quark General Manager responsible for QuarkXPress. “Mac users working under Leopard will appreciate Quark Interactive Designer not only because they can design Flash layouts without programming knowledge, but also because they can use existing print layouts for the web and have innovative design functions available to them.”
Quark Interactive Designer enables users to create interactive tours, graphically sophisticated presentations and online advertising directly in QuarkXPress 7, and export them directly as Flash projects (SWF files). The software offers interactive buttons, animations, and numerous predefined actions for page transitions, playing sound, moving objects and creating interactive menus.
The update to Quark Interactive Designer 1.02 is free for users of Quark Interactive Designer. It is available for download at http://euro.quark.com/de/products/interactivedesigner/QID_102_update.html. All users working with Microsoft Windows already have the current version, Quark Interactive Designer 1.01, and use the latest features.
