Through c&H’s distribution channel, MailPerfect reaches partners in German education including co.Tec, cobra, Cancom, PCWare and Asknet. The partnership gives MailPerfect access to more than 40,000 German-speaking educational institutions that could be equipped with Logitech webcams and Videonize during 2008.
Logitech Germany country manager Alexander Neff said Videonize and Logitech webcams formed an effective combination: time-shifted audiovisual communication offered a high degree of privacy for senders and created an alternative to the widespread public sharing of private life. c&H managing director Werner Dolata said the combination was useful for education because people learn and communicate using all their senses, and that Videonize delivered messages unaltered, unambiguous and secure.
MailPerfect CEO Uwe Schmidt described the partnership as a further milestone. Following the beginning of Videonize’s market introduction in 2007, he said 2008 would start revenue-driven marketing, with European companies interested in using the technology for internal and external communications.
