Barco supplies LED displays and visualisation systems and has more than ten years of experience installing large LED walls for sporting events and digital-signage applications. Its installations include Dubai Mall, FC Porto, Croke Park, Wembley Stadium and Shanghai Stadium.
Sony audiovisual systems have been deployed at Arsenal and FC Porto, La Poste France and World Duty Free at Heathrow Terminal 5. Sony Professional Solutions also offers consulting, system integration, training and support for multimedia and digital-signage projects.
Eric Siereveld, Director of Retail, Transport and Venues at Sony Professional Solutions Europe, described the cooperation with Barco as a milestone for the business.
Stephan Paridaen, President of Barco’s Media and Entertainment division, said the agreement would help both companies address growing demand for large and complex installations.
