Together with GameStop, the Academy now wants to put the prize in the right light. As US media report, the world’s largest games retailer will in future specially mark winning titles from the Interactive Achievement Awards in its branches. Customers would thus be able to recognise the award-winning games immediately. This would not only give publishers an additional marketing opportunity, but also bring the prize closer to the general public.
