Kirk Arnold Leads Avid Professional Video

Kirk Arnold has joined Avid as executive vice president and general manager of its professional video business.

Avid CEO Gary Greenfield described Arnold as an experienced executive with a record of helping customers transform business processes. He cited her leadership of a US$900 million consulting company and a similarly sized division at CSC, along with her customer-focused approach, as relevant to leading Avid’s professional video business.

Arnold has more than 25 years of management experience in multinational companies and start-ups. Before joining Avid, she was vice chairman and CEO of business-transformation and outsourcing provider Keane. Earlier, she served as executive vice president for product development and management at Fidelity Investments, with responsibility for marketing and consulting. She was also president and CEO of NerveWire, a venture-backed services company she helped establish in 2000, and previously spent six years at Computer Sciences Corporation as president of CSC Consulting.

Arnold began her career at IBM in sales and sales-management roles.
