Redmatica:

ExsManager is management software for EXS24 and GarageBand instruments and files. ExsManager was developed specifically for Mac OS X and addresses the problem of the search and loading times of ever larger and larger sample libraries.

AutoSampler is a Mac OS X application that enables automated sampling of instruments through MIDI control. Developed as a tool to bridge the gap between high-quality hardware synthesisers and the virtual studio world, AutoSampler creates ready-to-play EXS24 instruments by having the user connect their Mac to the sound source via MIDI. By using Logic, it is even possible to sample virtual instruments.

Keymap is a powerful sample editor for Mac OS X with which users can create instruments, starting with loops and acoustic instruments through to special effects. With the tools and functions in Keymap, any samples can be transformed into professional-sounding EXS24 instruments and used directly in

Logic and Logic Express. In addition, Keymap now also supports GarageBand instruments and Ultrabeat samples.

ExsManager, AutoSampler and Keymap are true Universal Binary OS X applications that run on G4 and G5 systems as well as the new Intel Macs. The new OS X 10.5 (Leopard) is fully supported.

The Redmatica stand can be found in Hall 5.1, stand number A79.

Wavemachine Labs:

The manufacturer of the Drumagog Pro and Drumagog Platinum drum-replacer plug-ins, known for its consistency, is in Frankfurt for the second year in a row. Owing to the positive response from trade-fair visitors last year and during NAMM in January, visitors in Frankfurt will once again have the opportunity this year to admire and try out the Drumagog drum kit themselves.

The drum kit consists entirely of pots and pans that are picked up with microphones. The signals are then routed through Drumagog ich real time. The clatter of the pots is transformed by Drumagog into genuine bass drum, snare and cymbal sounds

. This demonstrates that Drumagog really can transform any original sound into an excellent-sounding drum sound in real time and with all nuances. In the studio, even the most problematic-sounding recording can thus be simply and efficiently

rescued.

Two different Drumagog versions will be presented at Musikmesse: Drumagog Pro and Drumagog Platinum. In addition to a printed manual, both packages include a sample DVD with around 4 GB of selected and recognised high-class

drum samples for immediate use with Drumagog.

The VST, RTAS and AU plug-in standards are supported, as is BFD in the Platinum version. Drumagog runs cross-platform on Windows, OS X and OS 9; Apple’s new Intel computers and the new OS X 10.5 (Leopard) are fully

supported.

Anyone who wants to learn more about how Drumagog works should not miss the Drumagog stand in Hall 5.1, stand number D99E.
