Two Months in Hollywood for Emerging Talent

MedienCampus Bayern is offering three emerging filmmakers the opportunity to spend two months learning about the film industry in Los Angeles.

The stay consists of two components: the International Film Workshop and career training held as part of the workshop. The program is offered in cooperation with Steinlein Productions Inc. in Los Angeles.

The curriculum covers film production from the original idea through development, sale, and marketing, with an emphasis on the international market. Emerging talent from different parts of the world will meet at the center of the American film industry for intensive training. Participants will receive an exclusive behind-the-scenes view of Hollywood, while direct exchanges with professionals are intended to provide new impulses.

Students and young professionals may apply. Applicants must have initial experience with film, a high degree of independence, and very good English-language skills. Applications comprising a cover letter, CV, relevant certificates, and, where applicable, work samples on DVD should be sent to MedienCampus Bayern e.V., Professor Dr. Gabriele Goderbauer-Marchner, managing director, Wagmüllerstrasse 16, 80538 Munich. The application deadline is 29 March 2008.
