Engineering students may dream of designing the next Formula One car, while architecture students imagine planning a major museum.
The Autodesk Student Design Challenge allows students in architecture, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial design and 3D animation to demonstrate their work. The competition seeks design ideas from students across Germany.
Entries can be submitted until the end of April for a range of prizes.
Participants must be at least eighteen and submit a construction or planning design created with Autodesk software. Students can download Revit Architecture, 3ds Max, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Autodesk Inventor, Autodesk AliasStudio and Maya free of charge for the project.
Each category winner receives an Xbox 360, a full licence for Maya 2008 and international presentation of the project through Autodesk media.
Every design must be submitted by 30 April 2008.
