Autodesk Inventor Days 2008

More than 140 events will present Autodesk’s new 2009 product versions.

This spring, Autodesk is offering free events covering the new Autodesk Inventor 2009 software family from 14 April to 30 May. More than 140 Autodesk Inventor Days will take place across Germany, Austria and Switzerland in cooperation with Autodesk partners.

The focus is digital prototyping as an overall concept for continuous product development, along with the changes in the Inventor 2009 family. From the first idea through development and design to creating manufacturing documentation, participants will be shown the benefits available through digital prototyping.

“With Inventor Days 2008, we are showing customers how digital prototyping and continuous product development can reduce costs and shorten development times. Small and medium-sized companies in particular still have ground to make up and enormous untapped potential in this area. These events also provide the right setting for exchanging ideas with other users and benefiting from new approaches,” says Wolfgang Lynen, Industry Marketing Manager Manufacturing at Autodesk.

Inventor Days 2008 will be introduced by four preceding online conferences providing a substantial overview of the benefits of digital prototyping and the product updates. The 30-minute conferences take place at 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on 8 and 17 April. Interested participants can join directly from their workplace.
