HDLink Pro allows SDI video to be monitored on a DVI-D LCD computer display, avoiding the need for an expensive CRT reference monitor.
Compared with the smaller HDLink, HDLink Pro adds 3D lookup tables, six channels of de-embedded audio and 2K digital-cinema monitoring over 3 Gbit/s SDI. Blackmagic Design targets the converter at HD and cinema production.
