The Assassin’s Creed Director’s Cut Edition for PC follows the success of the critically acclaimed console hit Assassin’s Creed, which has already sold more than five million copies worldwide since its release. PC players will experience four new, exclusive informant challenges. These additional missions open new ways to explore the various locations of the Third Crusade. The player assumes the role of the main character Altair, whose purpose is to stop the fighting between two parties by acting against both simultaneously and putting them under pressure. During his missions, Altair also learns the combat skills of a true master assassin.
The four new informant challenges supplement the five originals from the console versions. The player therefore never has to complete the same informant challenge twice before the final target can be eliminated.
Rooftop Race: After meeting an informant, the player must reach another informant within a specified time. Reaching the second informant is rewarded with clues about the mission target.
Eliminate Archers: The player must eliminate all archers within a specified zone without being detected. Only then can other assassins continue their own missions.
Market Stall Destruction: The informant asks the player to destroy a specified number of market stalls. The merchants object to Altair’s plan, so their activities must be stopped.
Escort: The player must safely accompany another assassin from point A to point B.
