The DIAMANT Suite includes tools for repairing a wide range of film defects, including dust, dirt, stains, scratches, noise, flicker, distortion, and camera shake. Automatic and semi-automatic software tools enable effective correction in most cases.
A manual film-processing application named M.I.R., or moving image retoucher, is included in the DIAMANT Suite and can also be purchased separately.
The software was designed with research partner JOANNEUM RESEARCH for professional environments and supports relevant image formats including DPX, CIN, TIFF, TGA, JPG, and QuickTime.
