As a “hybrid product,” Boris RED integrates into nearly all common editing systems, but can also be used as a standalone application, thereby replacing additional compositing applications.
Among other features, version 4.3 enables RED to import subtitles in Adobe Encore format and offers improvements to template mode, where text changes can be made directly in the preset browser.
