Peder Norrby’s product development is aimed at customers creating 3D scenes with animated cameras in After Effects.

Horizon enables spherical maps in .exr format to be incorporated into After Effects, producing a seamless 360° background: an image is placed on the inside surface of a sphere surrounding the 3D scenes created in After Effects.

The visible section of this endless background then automatically adapts to the camera movement, giving the scene greater realism and opening up entirely new possibilities for camera moves.

In addition to spherical maps, color gradients can also serve as an endless background. Trapcode Horizon is now included in the Trapcode Suite, which remains available at the same bundle price.
