Preparing the data required for the design process with RTT DeltaGen was very time-consuming and costly for smaller companies. They also used the widespread AutoCAD CAD system, which until now was incompatible with RTT DeltaGen.
For some time, photorealistic real-time 3D visualization projects based on CAD (computer-aided design) data have been exciting designers and their customers alike. One reason is that the virtual models can now barely be distinguished from their real counterparts in terms of detail. Smaller architecture and design studios generally use AutoCAD or systems compatible with its DWG data format to create CAD data. Until now, they could not use industry-leading visualization solutions such as RTT DeltaGen directly. With the RTT DirectAutoCAD conversion tool, designers can now convert their source data very quickly and prepare it for the visualization process.
“With the RTT DirectAutoCAD conversion tool, we are increasing the flexibility of RTT DeltaGen and expanding the reach of our solution,” said Ludwig A. Fuchs, co-founder and board member of Realtime Technology AG. “This means architects, media designers and small design studios can now also benefit from our high-quality visualization technology.”
