Ever since gamma rays struck Bruce Banner’s body, the scientist has lived on the margins. The radioactive rays unleashed an untameable force within him that can no longer be controlled: at the slightest hint of anger, he transforms into the Hulk, a huge green monster.

Every search for an antidote has so far failed, and time is running out. General Thunderbolt Ross (William Hurt) is on his trail, seeking to use these powers for his own purposes. But Banner refuses to give up, fighting for a life without superpowers alongside Ross’s daughter Betty (Liv Tyler), who has fallen deeply in love with the scientist.

Just as a cure for Banner finally appears within reach, the all-destroying beast Abomination (Tim Roth) emerges, and only the Hulk can match its power. But will he accept the fight?

The film has been showing in German cinemas since Thursday, July 10.
