Michael Kratzer studied industrial design at Munich University of Applied Sciences. In 2000, he founded Interiorsphere GmbH together with Alexander Bucher. The company describes itself as a specialized 3D agency for the conception and production of emotionally engaging product trailers. Its team knows how to stage the design and function of products as an audiovisual experience that convinces the target audience on both a factual and an emotional level. The 3D trailers are used for marketing, sales, PR and trade shows, primarily in the consumer-products, automotive and industrial-products sectors.

Kratzer provides an overview of how 3D tools can be used in marketing. He describes and illustrates with practical examples emotional teasers, trade-show trailers, design demos, digital product instructions, CG product photography, web microsites and digital sales folders.

Drawing on his experience as co-founder of Interiorsphere GmbH, he presents a complete production workflow—from the client’s initial input and delivery of data through every intermediate step and approval to delivery of the finished product.
