Realtime Technology AG, or RTT (stock symbol: R1T), confirmed and continued the trend of previous years over the first half as a whole. According to preliminary consolidated figures including the results of subsidiaries RTT USA Inc. and RTT Asia-Pacific Inc., first-half revenue rose to €12.783 million (previous year: €9.182 million).
The company has also established the basis for further expanding its position as a leading global provider of visualization technology and services in terms of earnings and liquidity. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) improved to €1.203 million for the first half (previous year: €988,000).
Alongside new product features and broader, deeper integration of RTT among existing customers, increased internationalization was the main contributor to the company’s growth. Business in the United States and Asia was expanded further in a targeted manner. RTT AG also gained new customers in the consumer goods, automotive and aviation industries.
Growth is also reflected in employee numbers: RTT currently employs 330 people at eleven locations (first half of 2007: 230).
Ludwig A. Fuchs, CEO and co-founder of RTT, said: “We are confident that we can continue our development through the remainder of the financial year. With the new software version, we are making the technology accessible to a broader group of users and addressing new industries. The company is in an excellent financial position. Any economic storms will not knock us off course.”
