This makes the effects available natively in Linux-based Autodesk Flint, Flame, Inferno and Smoke systems. Effect presets can be transferred from other FEC versions, for example from Avid, After Effects or Final Cut Pro.
Final Effects Complete is an extensive collection of popular effect filters for After Effects, Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Motion, Avid and Autodesk. Alongside soft blurs and sophisticated color effects, the filter package provides excellent particle effects, for example for hair and fluid simulations. More than 100 plug-ins are available in total.
One of the first plug-in collections for After Effects, Final Effects quickly achieved cult status in the early 1990s, but the product has been difficult to obtain in recent years. It has now found a new home at Boris FX and is supported and developed further by an experienced team.
New in Version 5
With version 5, Boris brings the Final Effects Complete (FEC) plug-ins to the same technical level as the renowned Continuum Complete (BCC) collection. Final Effects now offers:

The current version is available in four variants:
Final Effects Complete 5 AE
For Adobe CS3 After Effects and Premiere Pro on Mac or Windows. Version 5 adds new presets, UI improvements and new parameters for popular filters, while remaining compatible with older projects that used FEC versions from Cycore, MetaCreations or ICE.
Final Effects Complete 5 FxPlug
For Apple Final Cut Pro and Motion. The use of Apple’s FxPlug interface enables seamless integration and fast rendering in Final Cut Studio.
Final Effects Complete 5 AVX
For Avid systems on Mac and Windows. Integration is handled through Avid’s AVX 2.0 interface. As with BCC filters, the EZ option can be used to display only a filter’s most important parameters, while the “Apply to Title Matte” option applies the filter directly to a title. On-screen controls are also available for editing filter properties directly in the Composer window. The collection has additionally been expanded with seven new transitions.
