Michael Kratzer studied industrial design at Munich University of Applied Sciences. In 2000, he founded Interiorsphere GmbH with Alexander Bucher. The company describes itself as a specialised 3D agency for the conception and production of emotional product trailers. Its team stages product design and functionality as an audiovisual experience designed to convince the target audience on both factual and emotional levels. The 3D trailers are used for marketing, sales, PR and trade shows, primarily in the consumer-products, automotive and industrial-products sectors.

Kratzer provides an overview of how 3D tools are used in marketing. He describes and illustrates with practical examples such formats as emotional teasers, trade-show trailers, design demos, digital product guides, CG product photography, web microsites and digital sales folders.

Drawing on his experience as co-founder of Interiorsphere GmbH, he presents a complete production workflow, from the first customer input and delivery of data through every intermediate step and coordination process to delivery of the finished product.
