The digital world makes it possible: a wide range of devices and systems for displaying S3D content is entering the market. The advantages include the many complementary technologies and highly attractive prices. The available solutions range from entry level to demanding professional applications.
Beginning with an overview of current S3D display technologies, the presentation shows various approaches to producing and visualising S3D content.
Speaker Lutz Möhr is the owner of management consultancy DNS Consult. He has founded an independent centre providing advice on S3D. The 3D Competence Center (3D-CC) is aimed primarily at manufacturers of S3D hardware, software and content, supporting them in marketing their products.
Working in close cooperation with DLR, the S3D showroom south of Munich not only presents all current S3D technologies but also provides ideas and practical assistance for integrating them into complete systems.
