The film tells the story of two undertakers, a father and son, who follow the corpse they are transporting into the underworld.
The film was produced in full HD at Nexus Studio within five months, with support from BBC Film, BBC Comedy, BBC Film Network, ARCADI in France and Mike Judge’s “The Animation Show” in the US.
Showered with awards, the path to an Oscar nomination was far less arduous than the journey of the film’s two characters. This Way Up received honors at various festivals, including the Palm Springs International Film Festival of Shorts, the London Film Festival and SIGGRAPH Asia.
