The short feature film, funded by FilmFernsehFonds Bayern and the Kuratorium Junger Deutscher Film, received the rating “Highly Commended” from the Wiesbaden Film Evaluation Board.

The jury’s statement reads:

“This student short film takes its time to tell the original story of radio presenter Max (Matthias Walter) and listener Sanja (Anna Brüggemann) in a way that is both fairytale-like and true to life. Through their voices, the two gradually grow closer, while the full depth of this unusual encounter is likewise revealed to the audience only little by little. The coherent direction and

skillful use of creative devices convey, in a natural and refreshing way, the positive message of love’s ability to change everything.”
