The opportunity to stage, shape and experience historical events is unusual. Reallusion has completed new German-language “Historical Events” expansion packs for its iClone 3 3D graphics and film-animation software, including Medieval Small Town Vol. 1 and Landing in Normandy. The packs contain actors, scenes and props intended to reproduce the elements of each historical period authentically.
Both add-ons include numerous buildings, objects, characters and landscapes in 3D format, allowing major historical events and situations to be brought back to life or illustrated according to the user’s ideas. The material is particularly suited to incorporating animated historical sequences into film projects as flashbacks or documentary material, creating original stories, and use by amateur military historians.
The Medieval Small Town Vol. 1 and Landing in Normandy add-ons are compatible with iClone 3 Standard and Pro and are available now as downloads for the German version from http://www.reallusion.com/de.
iClone 3.0 is designed for the simple, rapid creation of animated 3D films, including professional machinima productions. It introduces a redesigned interface, expanded live-actor design, keyboard shortcuts and mouse control, and two new editing modes for 3D film production. Further features include enhanced realtime rendering quality, a multi-camera system and simultaneous motion assignment for actors. Projects can be exported as standalone machinima productions, fashion shows, music videos or short films, and can also be used in video postproduction.
