The new H.264 encoder automatically detects HD camcorders and quickly makes recordings available as H.264 video. The Turbo.264 HD software can also convert any common video format quickly and easily into high-quality H.264 video at resolutions up to HD 1080p. The encoder, which outpaces even the fastest Mac Pro, also accelerates other programs such as iMovie.
Direct access to HD camcorders
Turbo.264 HD automatically detects HD camcorders connected to the Mac. Stored clips can be viewed in a preview window, trimmed, combined into a film and converted rapidly to H.264 without intermediate steps, or even uploaded to YouTube.
Converts any format by drag and drop
The Turbo.264 HD software converts all common video formats to H.264 by drag and drop—even in HD. Supported formats include AVCHD video, QuickTime, AVI, DV, WMV, MPEG-1, MPEG-2 Program/Transport Stream, MPEG-4, MP4, M4V, H.263, H.264 AVC, Xvid, VIDEO_TS and many more.
Turbo speed in numerous Mac video applications
