The software update provided greater control over raw settings and improved compatibility with RED cameras. It required an updated RED plug-in, scheduled for download from RED.com in May.
Compatibility with Avid Media Composer also improved. Avid projects could be imported into Premiere Pro without recapturing their media. The update additionally supported complete hardware-based HD postproduction workflows using video cards from AJA, Blackmagic and Matrox.
Premiere Pro CS4 4.1 was scheduled for availability at the end of May through Adobe Updater and http://www.adobe.com/de/updates.
