ViewCast Niagara Streaming Media Encoders are turnkey, ready-to-operate streaming solutions. Straightforward real-time encoding, including multiple streams on some models, is their core function. They are preconfigured so users can quickly create several independent high-quality streams.
ViewCast Niagara systems include the following software:
Niagara SCX®—remote encoder management and control software—provides convenient control of a Niagara system’s streaming settings, including from another computer. Multiple streams and systems can be configured and monitored from one control interface. Apart from the 6200 series, all Niagara systems ship with SCX Pro.
Osprey SimulStream® distributes the incoming video signal to multiple independent streams. Video can therefore be streamed simultaneously in several formats such as Windows Media, Flash and MPEG-4 with different scaling and frame rates.
