The new Class 1 monitors are currently the most advanced LCD monitors on the market, giving NDR broadcast engineers and producers ultimate control of image material down to the smallest detail. At the same time, NDR is continuing to move towards HD, as the BVM-L230 can analyse and assess image material in all common formats and resolutions up to Full HD and 2K.
Sony’s BVM family offers flat-panel displays for television, digital cinema and digital post-production. They are equally suitable for image evaluation, quality control and mastering applications. Among other features, the LCD reference monitors offer Full HD resolution (1920 × 1080 pixels), a 12-bit image processor, a 10-bit LCD driver and Sony’s unique TRIMASTER technology.
Additional features such as Black Insertion mode for dramatically reducing motion blur and the LED-based Precision Backlight System for balanced backlighting guarantee excellent image quality and enable highly critical assessment of image material.
