The Best Young Production category at the animago AWARD 2009 is sponsored by eyeon Software this year. The category seeks the animago AWARD’s best emerging production. The idea, character and technical implementation are assessed. Productions by private and public universities, as well as by all emerging artists, can be submitted.
“The demand for Fusion artists is increasing sharply worldwide,” says Eric Westphal, eyeon’s Product Manager Europe. “We are therefore delighted to support emerging talent and to give the winner a ground-breaking production package with Generation and Fusion for their further career.”
Many past animago AWARD winners use eyeon software. “We are delighted that, through its support, eyeon is showing the community how important animago is to the industry. We are pleased to have such a capable partner at our side,” confirms animago Project Manager Matthias J Lange.
The animago AWARD is the most important prize for animation and post-production and at the same time the most prestigious competition in Germany’s Digital Content Creation industry. This year, the animago AWARD is being supported by Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg for the first time. More than 10,000 entries, ranging from animation for film, television and commercials through short films and industrial productions to ambitious home productions, have entered the animago AWARD for international comparison to date.
This year, entries can again be submitted free of charge at http://www.animago.com until July 31, 2009. An excellent specialist jury nominates the best entries in eleven categories and, in some categories, selects the winners together with a specialist audience. The prize-winners will be announced at the ceremonial awards presentation on October 29.
