On August 7, 8 and 9, indie, low-budget and guerrilla filmmakers will meet in Mainz for the first German-language FilmerCamp and exchange ideas for Two days in workshops and sessions on the following topics:
• United Forces—teamwork, collaboration, communication
• Movies for the Seeing—innovative use of the film medium
• From Poor to Wow—making the maximum advantage from scarcity
• Money, money, money—indie film and money
• Low Budget, High Tech —innovative technology and tight budgets
All passionate filmmakers are addressed (untamed professionals, students, demanding filmmakers by passion and all departments).
Alongside sessions, workshops and discussions (see filmercamp.de), there will be, among other things:
• Two cinema screenings (“Auf Bösem Boden” and “Break” :-)
• Bring-Your-Own-Movie screenings
• Field Experience: hardcore laptop editing with Adobe and Lenovo
• Field Experience: workflow with the latest Sony cams
• One or two small shootout competitions ;)
• Party night // delicious food & drink during the conference
• Spontaneous discussion rounds and sessions that you can help determine!
• An intensive athmosphere with relaxed and interesting people!
A number of exciting filmmakers have already confirmed—directors, DOPs, writers, VFX artists, sound designers and film composers—with plenty of experience and tricks that we will all share.
Anyone can register their own talks at filmercamp.de! There is room for a maximum of 150 participants, many of which are already occupied.
The participation fee is €20.
