The online shop for gamescom, the largest event and entertainment highlight for interactive games and entertainment, is now open to trade visitors, fans and the public. Purchasing tickets in the online shop is quick and child’s play: e-tickets can be printed directly after successful registration and payment at http://www.gamescom.de. This makes admission simple and efficient, bypassing the ticket counters on site. There is no additional queuing at the box office. Best of all, advance tickets for gamescom from the online shop are up to 25 percent less expensive. At the same time, they serve as tickets for local public transport within the Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Sieg (VRS) and VRR (Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Ruhr) networks. School pupils, students and gamers can experience gamescom 2010 live from August 19 to 22 with advance tickets starting at just 6 euros. gamescom brings together every target group in interactive entertainment, from developers and publishers through retailers to gamers. The growing community of “casuals” – casual players and families – can also expect plenty of action, fun and adventure at gamescom. Parents visiting gamescom with up to three children can enter the world of interactive entertainment with the family ticket. The gamescom family day is Sunday, August 22.
